About Me
I'm Gunnar Enserro — a machine learning engineer, PhD student, and founder based in Colorado.
Research
I'm a doctoral student in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Colorado Denver and Anschutz Medical Campus, working in Mazen Al Borno's lab. My research focuses on the dynamics of neural communication — building computational models of how the brain coordinates movement, fitting and sampling neural activity, and running distributed workloads on HPC clusters.
Industry
I founded Stunn Inc., a machine learning consultancy. I build and deploy ML systems for corporate clients — document processing pipelines, fine-tuned LLMs for structured data extraction, and the cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD) that keeps it running.
Background
I started in IT and QA, moved into IoT development and product work, and eventually found my way into ML research. I also teach undergraduates in neuroscience, AI, and high-performance computing.
Currently
I'm focused on applied ML — research, model development, MLOps, and data pipelines. If you're working on something at that intersection, feel free to reach out.
